Safety Week

Standard Response Protocol (SRP). SRP is a nationally recognized, evidence-based safety framework that provides clear, simple and consistent language for responding to various emergency situations.

During Safety Week, you can expect a series of dedicated communications from your school. These messages are designed to highlight one of our five specific SRP actions (Hold, Secure, Lockdown, Evacuate and Shelter) so that you can better understand what takes place, your role and how we will communicate with you during an emergency.
